New Year's Eve Day and it is pouring with rain.

Although I had intended to begin the blog tomorrow - as a New Year's project, the rain is to continue and the high predicted for today is 8 degrees, so this seemed like an amazing day to start.

Here are a few pictures taken out my studio window - my vantage point on the lake every morning. This is what I plan to post on the days that I am here.

Just yesterday, neighbours were walking along the edge of the lake pulling a toddler in a sleigh. I don't think that will be happening today.
