Another Not-Great Weekend.

Seems like we have drifted back into the pattern of good weather mid-week and crummy weekends. However, this year, we don't even seem to be getting the mid-week breaks. I feel so badly for cottagers (and even worse for campers) who make their plans and then arrive to this kind of weather.

This is what it looked like yesterday morning.

One of those mornings when you can barely see the treeline on Booze Island. The day didn't improve much either, with an array of black and grey clouds hovering over all day long. Plus rain on and off.
The only things enjoying it were the plants and the bugs.

And here is this morning.

Another skyline filled with ominous looking cloud cover. My iphone app does say that it should be nicer tomorrow and Wednesday and is even promising sun for Saturday. But, it is technology after all and Mother Nature always gets the final say.

I promise to share something brighter if it arrives in the week. It's time to see some sunshine around here.

On a brighter note, last Wednesday the water temperature was already 20 degrees, so it shouldn't take long to warm it up beautifully for swimming.
