Will it ever stop raining?

For those of you who haven't been here yet, it's looking like a tropical rain forest. As much as we don't relish the rain, the plants and trees certainly do. The new growth on the trees this year is the longest I can remember seeing.

Fathers' Day weekend was beautiful - warm and sunny - perfect for frolicking in the water.  Monday wasn't quite as lovely and it's been raining and miserable since Tuesday.

The tin boat has been bailed a few times this week, so if yours is in, run directly to the dock when you arrive.

For those of you who are thinking of coming for the July 1st long weekend, the long-range forecast looks like a bit of good and bad.

We just can't get over the difference from last year - Mother Nature is a fickle gal. But I guess compared to the East and the West, this rain is just a drizzly nuisance. And the sun will come out tomorrow.....
